At RCCG The Trinity Centre, we uphold the foundational truths of Christianity as revealed in the Holy Scriptures. We are committed to teaching and living out the Word of God in its fullness, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, with Christ at the centre of all we do.
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is complete, without error, and absolutely authoritative in all matters of faith, doctrine, and conduct. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are God’s complete revelation to humanity. It is relevant for all generations and remains our ultimate guide for life and godliness. Its central purpose is the salvation of mankind through Jesus Christ.
π 2 Timothy 3:16-17 | 2 Peter 1:20-21 | Psalm 12:6 | Matthew 24:35 | Psalm 119:160
GOD
We believe in one eternal, living God β the Creator of all things, visible and invisible. He is infinite in power, perfect in holiness, and unchanging in His love. God reveals Himself to humanity through His Word and through His creation. He alone is worthy of worship, glory, and obedience.
π Genesis 1:1 | Psalm 86:9-10 | Isaiah 43:10-11 | John 1:1-3
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and came to save humanity from sin. He died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended into heaven where He now intercedes for us. Jesus is the only way to the Father. He will return to judge the world and establish His eternal Kingdom.
π John 1:1-14 | Matthew 17:15-17 | Acts 2:32-33 | Hebrews 4:14-15 | Revelation 1:13-16
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity. He is fully God, co-equal with the Father and the Son. He indwells, guides, teaches, empowers, and sanctifies believers. The Holy Spirit produces fruit in the lives of believers and gives spiritual gifts for the work of ministry. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
π John 14:16-17 | Acts 1:8 | 1 Corinthians 12:7 | Ephesians 1:17-19
HOLINESS
We believe in one God who eternally exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-eternal, co-equal, and co-existent, and together they are one God, unified in purpose and essence.
π Matthew 3:16-17 | 2 Corinthians 13:14 | Hebrews 9:14 | 1 John 5:7
PROSPERITY
We believe that true prosperity comes from God, who delights in the well-being of His children. Prosperity is not limited to wealth, but includes spiritual growth, health, peace, and provision. As we obey Godβs Word, give generously, and walk in faith, He supplies all our needs and enables us to be a blessing to others.
π Joshua 1:8 | Psalm 1:1-3 | 3 John 1:2 | Philippians 4:19 | Deuteronomy 8:18
THE FALL OF MAN
Man was created in Godβs image, pure and sinless. Through Adamβs disobedience, sin entered the world, and man fell from grace. All mankind inherited a sinful nature and are thus separated from God. Without divine intervention, no human being can attain righteousness or salvation.
π Genesis 1:26-31 | Psalm 51:5 | Romans 3:23 | Colossians 1:16
SALVATION
Salvation is Godβs gift to mankind through Jesus Christ. It is received by grace through faith, not by works. Christ’s death and resurrection secured our redemption, and through repentance and acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are forgiven, justified, and reconciled to God.
π Romans 10:9-10 | Acts 3:19 | John 3:16 | Ephesians 2:8-9
SANCTIFICATION
Sanctification is a state of being set apart unto God. While it begins at the point of salvation, it continues as a process of spiritual growth through the Holy Spirit, leading us into holiness, purity, and Christlikeness. God calls every believer to be holy.
π 1 Peter 1:15-16 | Hebrews 10:10-14 | John 17:17 | Romans 6:22
BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a separate and distinct experience from salvation. This baptism empowers the believer for service, bold witness, and spiritual gifts. The initial evidence of this experience is speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
π Acts 2:1-4 | Joel 2:28 | Mark 16:17 | Acts 19:2
DIVINE HEALING
Divine healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to all who believe. Through faith, prayer, and the laying on of hands, God heals physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Healing is a sign of Godβs love and power, and is part of the believerβs inheritance.
π James 5:14-15 | Isaiah 53:5 | 1 Peter 2:24 | Mark 16:17-18
THE RAPTURE
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to rapture His Church. At this event, the dead in Christ will rise, and living believers will be caught up with them to meet the Lord in the air. This marks the beginning of the end-time events.
π 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 | 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 | John 14:1-3
THE GREAT TRIBULATION
Following the rapture, the earth will undergo a time of great tribulation β a period of intense suffering and judgment under the reign of the Antichrist. It will culminate in the return of Christ to establish His millennial kingdom.
π Revelation 6-19 | Daniel 9:24-27 | Matthew 24:21-22
THE MILLENNIAL REIGN
Jesus Christ will return with His saints to reign on earth for a thousand years. This period will be marked by peace, righteousness, and divine rule. Satan will be bound, and Christ will govern all nations with justice.
π Revelation 20:1-6 | Isaiah 11:1-10 | Zechariah 14:9
FINAL JUDGMENT
We believe in the judgment seat of Christ for believers, where rewards will be given based on faithful service. We also believe in the Great White Throne Judgment for the wicked and unbelievers, who will be cast into the lake of fire.
π Romans 14:10-12 | Revelation 20:11-15 | 2 Corinthians 5:10
ETERNAL HEAVEN
Heaven is the eternal dwelling place of believers. God will create a new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells. In His presence, there will be no more pain, death, or sorrow β only eternal joy and worship.
π Revelation 21:1-7 | John 14:1-3 | 1 Thessalonians 4:17
HELL AND THE LAKE OF FIRE
Hell is the eternal punishment prepared for the devil, his angels, and all who reject Christ. It is a place of eternal separation from God, torment, and judgment. It is the final destiny of the unredeemed.
π Matthew 25:46 | Revelation 20:10-15 | Luke 16:19-31
WATER BAPTISM
We believe in full-immersion water baptism for all believers, as a public testimony of faith. It symbolizes death to sin and resurrection to a new life in Christ. It is an act of obedience and identification with Jesus.
π Romans 6:3-5 | Matthew 28:19-20 | Acts 2:38
RESTITUTION
Restitution is the act of making right any past wrongs where possible. It is a demonstration of genuine repentance and a step toward living in integrity. Wisdom and spiritual counsel should guide any restitution that may cause harm or further injustice.
π Luke 19:8-9 | Acts 24:16 | Genesis 32:9-20
THE LORD’S SUPPER
We observe the Lordβs Supper as a memorial of Christβs sacrifice and a celebration of our redemption. The bread and the cup represent His body and blood, and proclaim His death until He comes again.
π 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 | Luke 22:19-20 | Acts 2:42
